Tehran, a city with a diverse geography; a city where damage, annoyance, and scratches have become the norm over the years. Perhaps only through the map can one gain access to the city’s outer and inner borders and follow its paths with concentration and silence.
When I was researching the relationship between popular culture and tablecloths, I came across a wide range of tablecloths, napkins, mats, and other items, and this range could have been a life story.
People from various ethnic groups, dialects, and cultures who have settled in Tehran have obviously brought with them a variety of customs and lifestyles. This diversity is clearly visible in the unity of place and time, indicating a huge social class gap.
