Mohammad Keyvan is born in Tehran, 1989. He is a graduate of Graphic design in the Kamal-al-Molk School of Art and a BA in painting at the University of Art, Tehran.
In his complex, large-scale paintings, numerous references might be found to the issues of contemporary society, scientific endeavors, conflicts, etc.; which have generally been combined with the allusions to the history of art. A combination of picture planes and diverse painting modes are characteristic of his work. His art makes extensive references to art history and the methods of visual expression and deconstruction, juxtaposing these in innovative pictorial spaces.
Mohammad Keyvan has held solo exhibitions in Farvahar, Aun, and Iranshahr Galleries in Tehran, and has participated in a number of group exhibitions, including in the Iranian Artists Forum and Sana Cultural Center.
